Play!
Research shows that dramatic play - when children pretend to be someone and/or act out situations - encourages early literacy because children are forming a story and acting it out. We provide a large play area to children to be creative that includes a Lego table, train table, kitchen set, and dolls.

Early Literacy Stations
We offer two fun and interactive AWE Computers designed specifically for children between ages 2-8. Children may play the games using either the mouse or the touch screen monitor. Children may play games in all seven curricular areas: math, science, social studies, reading, arts, writing, and reference.

Storytimes!
Ages 1-5.
Our Fall and Winter Storytimes are offered Monday through Thursday at 10:30am. Our Summer Storytimes are drop-in every Tuesday at 10:30. Our storytimes consist of 30 minutes of stories, music, flannel board play, nursery rhymes, and parachute play, followed by a short 15-minute craft.

Lego Club
All ages!
We meet the third Friday of every month from 4-5:30pm! Use your imagination and make a Lego creation for us to display in the library! Children under the age of 5 should have an adult helper with them.
