Volunteering at the library!

We accept teen volunteers every summer to help with our Summer Reading Program!  Volunteens must be in 7th through 12th grade to volunteer at the library. Volunteens are very important to the success of our summer reading program. As a volunteen, you will correct worksheets, redeem prizes, and assist with programs and parties!

We no longer accept volunteers who have not attended one of our volunteer orientations.

More volunteer information will be available Spring 2017!
If you are interested in volunteering with us in the summer, you MUST attend our volunteer orientation.

Computers
We offer 10 computers, each with a headset, for children to play games such as Minecraft and RoBlox and/or to watch YouTube videos. These computers are filtered and parents must sign a permission slip to allow their minors to use our computers. Each child gets a half hour on the computer and may renew their time if no other child is waiting. Children using the computers to do homework should let the librarian know so that they may receive unlimited time.

We also offer one AWE Computer called the Afterschool Edge that offers homework help and skills reinforcement for elementary school-aged children.
