A SNEAK PEAK AT SUMMER ACTIVITIES AT THE COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP LIBRARY
The theme for this year’s children’s reading program is “Catch the Reading Bug”. Miss Elaine and Miss Myla will again be visiting Comstock Elementary Schools in late May to promote the program. All children ages 2 and up are invited to participate and earn reading incentives. Younger children earn incentives by having parents read to them. The theme for the Young Adult Reading program is “Metamorphosis”. All middle and high school students are encouraged to join the program and read for fun, earning incentives along the way.
Registration for the Young People’s Department reading program begins on June 9th. Activities are scheduled to begin the week of June 16th. Registration and participation in the summer reading program is required for all craft programs. A complete calendar of events will be available in the library the last week in May. Join us for a fun summer of events and “Catch the Reading Bug”.
Computers:

The Young People's Department has 5 Internet Access computers and 2 game computers. Microsoft Word, Publisher and Excel programs are available on these computers. If a student wants to use the Internet we require a one time permission slip to be filled out by the parent and student. This is kept on file and the student can sign in to use the internet during regular library hours. Printing is .05 cents a copy, the first five copies are free.
The library is handicapped accessible. Should you or your child need special arrangements in order to participate in any event please contact us. Comstock Township Library is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides programs and services without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, or handicap.
GREAT WEBSITES TO TRY:
The Internet can be fun and useful, but there is a lot of information out there - some good, some useless. Take a shortcut past the useless and use the websites listed on the bottom of this page. Homework help is just one of many.
