Comstock Township Library is now open with curbside service still available!

Current hours are:
Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

 

Library Visits
When visiting the library:
  • Everyone age four and over must wear a mask covering the nose and mouth while in the building.
  • Visits, including computer use, are limited to 1 hour per day.
  • There is a 50 item check out limit.
  • If bringing items back, please place them in the outdoor book return.
  • Curbside service is still available. 
     


Curbside Service
To use our curbside pick-up service:
  • Contact the library to place an order for materials or place holds through our online catalog

  • There is a pick-up limit of 15 items per library card per day
  • If bringing items back, please place them in the outdoor book return.
We will call to let you know when your items are checked out and ready to be picked up. Visit the library and call us from the parking lot or come to the front door and ring the doorbell. We will bring your items out to you, checked out and ready to go. Please bring your ID with you when you come to pick-up your materials!

  • Please return all items to the outside book drop.
  • Returned items will continue to be quarantined for 48 hours before being checked in and re-shelved.
  • The library is not accepting donations of materials at this time.


The library has a Phased Reopening Plan in place that allows us to open to the public safely and responsibly. The plan also prepares us to go back to a previous phase should COVID-19 cases increase and new shut-downs be announced. We are currently operating in Phase IV of the Reopening Plan.

Phase I: building closed to the public and all but essential staff required to perform essential tasks. Most staff work remotely to provide virtual customer service and programs. 

Phase II: staff members return to work in staggered shifts. Virtual customer service and programs continue. 

Phase III: curbside material delivery services are available with limited days and times. Virtual customer service and programs continue. 

Phase IV: library building opens to the public with limited occupancy, reduced hours, and limited access to services and resources. Virtual programs continue. 

Phase V: library returns to full service; special arrangments may still apply.
