The Comstock Township Library teen area is a safe and neutral space created for all teens. We have a varied collection of young adult fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels and manga. Talk to a staff member at the youth desk if there is a book, game, DVD or series we don't have that you think we should! We can most likely add it to our collection or order it for you from another library.

Our teen area also provides the following:
  • A resource for reading and educational needs for teens ages 11-18.
  • A place that invites and celebrates teen creativity, imagination, exploration, diversity and interaction
  • An avenue for teens to get up-to-date information about library programs, services, opportunities, and community events
  • Free wifi and six computers available for homework or gaming use
  • Whiteboard marker table and mounted worktable for homework use

All-new Colt Cards are here!

Comstock Township Library and Comstock Schools are launching a student library card program to ensure that students have access to library resources. This program will be expanding to all schools (including Comstock Middle School and Comstock High School) very soon!

Teen Biblio Boxes - ON PAUSE

Teen Biblio Boxes go on PAUSE through Summer Reading Program. They will return in October!

Comstock Township Library is offering "Biblio Boxes" to our teens!

Set up a bit like a subscription box, every other month we will have a limited number of boxes for t(w)eens in grades 6-12. Inside, there will be themed goodies galore! Each box usually contains 2-3 library books to check out, candy, toys, and/or crafts- every month is different!

Only those with a valid CTL library card may participate**, and this service is free! This program does not run May-September (to allow our staff to run Summer Reading Program).

Tween Craft

Each month, the Comstock Township Library has take-home crafts for our youth patrons. These tween crafts are open to kids ages 11-17, and are available on the first day of the month. They are first-come, first-serve.

To get a craft, we ask that each patron check out a few things from the library. This helps keep our circulation numbers up and keeps the library operating for you! If you aren't sure what you want to check out, let us help you! Any of the youth department staff are happy to assist you in picking out books or audiobooks!
