Accepting yarn donations year round for our Lap Afghan Donation project
Once a year the library donates lap afghans to area hospices and nursing homes. If you have leftover yarn from other projects, this is a perfect way to use it up!
We assemble knit or crochet blocks that are 7″ wide x 9″ long into lap afghans that are approximately 35″ wide x 45″ long. If you like to knit or crochet, we will also gladly accept completed rectangles or completed lap afghans.
